We first visited Armatus Canine for Nadia's Human Behaviour workshop early this year. It was super helpful at a time when it was very much needed. Since then we have been attending the Scent work club regularly with Shel with our 2 year old Labrador Dexter. We have all learnt so much. Shel explains everything really well, individualises training for each dog and handler and always makes sure every dog and human feels comfortable. It is a really supportive, friendly environment with other like-minded dog owners. The best thing is seeing my dog do something he loves to do whilst improving our relationship and obedience. Each time I leave with my confidence boosted, new scent work ideas and a satisfied and tired dog. Whilst at Scent work club we have also met Paul, Nadia (again) and Jazz, it is clear that every single member of the team is a highly skilled trainer, and love their jobs. As a first time, anxious dog owner with a smart, speedy but nervous dog, the support we have had at Armatus Canine has made a massive difference to me and Dexter in the past few months. A huge thank you to Shel particularly- over the past few months you have helped me feel proud and positive about the team Dexter and I are becoming. I would highly recommend Armatus Canine to anyone.

Highly recommended Armatus Canine. They offer so many different choices of classes. I have attended Nadias bootcamp and Shels scent work club. Both of which are really well organised and you gain so much from the classes. I have also had 1 to 1s with Sophie and Jazz. The whole team are brilliant and very welcoming. Shel's scent work class is really enjoyable and Shel is so knowledgeable and really makes you and your dog feel comfortable. The online coaching is a brilliant option as the training is completely personalised to you and your dog, Jazz is great at encouraging progression in your training and really breaks each part down.

We couldn't appreciate all the work and support we have had from Jazz and the team, they have helped us with our young German Shepherd who has severe anxiety and is reactive towards people. We have used there online program, as we are based up north, for the past 5 months now and we have been able to see a massive difference in our pooch, we are so grateful for everything they have done for us. I thought it about time I left a review for Armatus Canine and before I go into detail let me sum it up….”Outstanding!” It was a long term ambition, over 15 years, to own and train a Belgian Malinois, I done lots of research both online and by speaking to handlers and owners and despite some people thinking I was bloody mad, I took the plunge. Whilst my enthusiasm wasn’t lacking or the eagerness to learn I experienced both some breeders and trainers didn’t deliver what they offered, lacked communication or just weren’t consistent in other areas. The other thing I personally experienced in speaking to certain trainers were that huge ego’s can be involved - this was until I come across Armatus Canine through a recommendation on the Belgian Malinois Forum. My first point of contact was with Scott by email, I explained what I was hoping to achieve and my past experiences and Scott put my mind at rest and reassured me I’d come to the right place, he spoke to me on a level, as a human being, his reassurance that there were no ego’s to be found there and his enthusiasm shone through! This was followed by my first meeting with Jazz, a really fun, passionate, straight talking and enthusiastic trainer who is a true professional in her field. Jazz has taken myself and Luther under her wing and from approx 10 weeks ago to where we are today is huge progress! Being someone who is very hard and critical on themselves such as me and wants to achieve to much to quickly requires a certain patience from a trainer, Jazz I can’t say Thank you enough. I have good days and bad. I have attended sessions both in person and online with Jazz and for anyone who is sceptical at doing online lessons I would say give it a try, I’ve found it amazing! These are completely 1:1 and tailored to you and your dog. I already want to increase my number of lessons alongside my online training as I am utterly hooked and am hungry to learn more. Armatus offers sports options to and we are in discussion about getting myself and Luther into protection sports which is fantastic! I’d like to also recommend Nadia’s (trainer at Armatus) course on Human Element to Dog Training. Absolute eye opener and will keep you interested from start to finish! Nadia as with all the team is upbeat, fun, knowledgeable and an utter professional getting everyone involved. The facilities and grounds are vast and the options endless! Guys - you are a true credit to your trade and utter professionals in your field whilst retaining a grounded, human approach. Keep on doing it - there is no where else I’d go! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ❤️

Where do I start? Absalutely brilliant experience with Armatus Canine today! It was so refreshing to walk into a training centre where the trainers are so open-minded and willing to help, Paul has been amazing with his help, advice and guidance with my malinois and GSD regarding my NASDU re team after being let down by a handful of trainers in the last 12 months today has really changed my perspective and given me the boost I needed! The training team at Armatus Canine were fantastic. I wasn’t sure if they could help as I am based down in Wiltshire so way too far for me to regularly train in person. As soon as I got in touch Nadia was extremely helpful during my initial video chat, she took the time to listen to my struggles with my dog, I felt she really understood what was going on and was confident they could help - I was not disappointed. I then took up online coaching with Sophie and I really can’t believe how quickly we started seeing results. Walking my dog is now a pleasure and not something I dread and I owe that to these guys! Distance is no issue, if you need help with your dog training - get in touch with them, you won’t regret it!

Amazing service from Jazz and the other trainers. Helped me no end with my eldest dog who had aggression issues when I first got him. Has also helped with my youngest dogs separation anxiety! We’re based in Cornwall so used their online service and it’s amazing!! Can’t rate them highly enough, no question is too much for them to explain.

I completed NASDU lvl 2 GP security dog handler course on 16/05/21 and would recommend Armatus Canine to anyone looking to do this course or any other course, instructors are experienced, knowledgeable, professional and somehow even made the PowerPoint lessons interesting (normally PP lessons put me to sleep 😂) I drove from Edinburgh to do course and I'm soo glad I did, Armatus Canine well worth the long drive to get to them, I will be back. I would also recommend the members portal on the Armatus Canine website for anyone who has a pet dog, lots of great videos and advice for anything to do with your pet dog.
